Frozen Pizza
When you lay the cheese on as thick as we do, baking our frozen pizzas requires a bit of an unusual cooking method:
- Do NOT pre-heat the oven. Place the frozen pizza on a baking sheet and place in the oven.
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees and cook the pizza for approximately 25 minutes.
- Turn the oven to 450 degrees and cook the pizza to desired doneness, approximately 8–12 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown throughout.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before cutting.
- After cutting, let the pizza rest for a few minutes before eating.
NOTE: PIZZA WILL BE EXTREMELY HOT AND MAY DRIP INGREDIENTS.
Build-at-Home Pizza
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Unwrap the pizza dough ball. The dough will roll easier if it sits out for 30 minutes prior to unrolling.
- On a hard, clean surface, sprinkle flour and flatten the dough ball.
- Use a rolling pin to roll dough into an approximately 12-inch circle.
- Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Place the rolled-out pizza dough on the cookie sheet.
- Apply the pizza sauce to the pizza dough. Spoon the sauce into the middle of the dough and spread it evenly across, about ¼ inch from the edge of the crust.
- Place your desired ingredients on top of the sauce.
- Cover the pizza with the cheese. Pile the cheese in center of the pizza and spread out evenly to cover ingredients and sauce. NOTE: It’s important NOT to put the cheese all the way to the edge, as it will spill over and may slide off into the oven and burn.
- Place the ready-to-cook pizza on the middle shelf of your oven.
- Bake for approximately 15–20 minutes.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before cutting.
- After cutting, let it rest for a few minutes before eating.
NOTE: PIZZA WILL BE EXTREMELY HOT AND MAY DRIP INGREDIENTS.
